RAFCO Municipal is the municipal/waste division of the GRAFENZ Group, based at our manufacturing facility in the Kemalpaşa Industrial Zone, İzmir. We design and build rear-loader refuse collection vehicles, skip-handling trucks, hook-lift systems, refuse transfer and compactor trailers, press containers and static compactors — exported to municipalities and contractors in 30+ countries.
Our products are built to European Norms (EN), ISO 9001:2015 quality systems and CE marking. Most steel cutting, forming, hydraulic-pack assembly and superstructure mounting happens in-house — letting us deliver shorter lead times than the sector average and tailor each unit to the customer's chassis, container fleet and route profile.
Beyond the standard catalogue, our team handles special / custom builds: bin-washing modules, hopper geometry adaptations, two-stream split-body bodies and chassis-specific sub-frames for non-European OEMs.

An in-house R&D department handles all design, simulation and prototype work before a single panel is cut for serial production. New variants are signed off only after structural and hydraulic validation.
Production is mostly in-house — steel cutting, forming, hydraulic assembly and chassis mounting under one roof. Lead times stay below sector average; custom orders ship on the date we quote.
After-sales is part of the same factory. 24-hour spare-parts pipeline, mobile-service vans for nearby fleets, and a 1-year manufacturer warranty on all RAFCO-built superstructures.
Our headquarters and primary production facility sit in the Kemalpaşa Industrial Zone east of İzmir — Turkey's largest concentration of heavy-vehicle and steel-fabrication suppliers, with direct rail and port access to İzmir Alsancak and Aliağa.
Units ship globally from the same facility, with after-sales service coordinated centrally from İzmir.
