Hydraulically extending arms — reaches further up and out. Picks up containers from corners, behind low obstacles and from higher curbs without repositioning the truck.
The RAFCO ST shares the SL chassis, hook system and platform — but adds hydraulically telescoping arms. The longer reach picks up containers from awkward positions: narrow alleys, behind low obstacles, raised curbs, or corner placements where the truck cannot align perfectly with the skip.
For municipalities working historic centres and tight industrial yards, the ST replaces a fixed-arm SL one-for-one without changing chassis class or container fleet.

| Code | Container | Lift @ ground | Chassis class | Use | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SL | 6 – 12 m³ | 5 – 14 t | 9 – 18 t | Routine skip swaps · city + yards | |
| ST | 6 – 12 m³ | 5 – 14 t | 9 – 18 t | Extended reach · tight sites | |
| SD | 2 × 6 – 12 m³ | 14 – 18 t | 19 – 26 t | Two skips per trip · high-volume routes |
If your route has tight corners, raised curbs or partially blocked container bays, the telescopic arm pays back in time saved per stop.
